The department started with one program (under graduate program) in 2003 e.c ;the number of students were 35,and now the department has 3 program namely undergraduate (regular and Extension )program and post graduate (regular) program. Now, the department has 77 extension undergraduate students, 400 Regular undergraduate students and 18 Regular post graduate students.
